Prayer underpins everything we do.The Oasis Room is a quiet room for prayer and contemplation.On the first Thursday of every month, you are invited to visit The Oasis Room for a time of peace and quiet in the midst of the noise and bustle of the day.The room will be open for prayer between 10.30am and 12 noon. a member of the prayer team, will be there to keep you company or to chat if you wish.You may want time….to think about family, friends, someone who is ill or in trouble.You may want to reflect on memories or remember someone who has died.
You may just need ……a “brief rest from the world”. . |
In the Oasis Prayer room the first Thursday of the every month:-
First, from 10.00, we will pray for people and countries of the world suffering great natural disasters (earthquakes, floods, storms and disease) injuries and loss of life and for those people without the most basic human rights and oppressed in their own lands
From 11.00 until 11.30 is personal open time when we welcome those who maybe want to be alone with the Lord in prayer, bringing their own concerns, fears and worries, in peace and quiet.
From 11.30 in the Oasis room, there will be a time of prayer hosted by our prayer team, for local affairs -for families, our community, churches in the town and the Street Pastors. You are invited to join us or beforehand to write your prayers on a card and place them in our Prayer Box (by the hall door as you come in). These will be included during this special prayer time.
