Hall Hire

Hall hire rates are variable depending upon whether it is a commercial hire or a community/charity event. As with all Methodist Churches, we do not allow alcohol anywhere on the premises so it may not be suitable for all events.

 Our Halls

Sanctuary

This is our worship space that is also available to hire for concerts and other large events. Most of the furniture can be moved as long as it is put back as it is found.  It can seat c.150 people in its current layout with the option of opening up the doors at the back and adding more rows of chairs.  There is also a balcony (access subject to ability to climb stairs) that  can seat up to 70 people.

Oasis Lounge

This is our café area that is used for coffee mornings, informal gatherings and for refreshments at events taking place in the Sanctuary. In its current layout it can seat c. 65 people or the tables can be moved aside to accommodate up to 100 people. The hire includes the servery area with access to the main kitchen for use of the dishwasher. The main kitchen can be added to the hire if ovens etc are required.

Wesley Hall

The Wesley Hall is at the back of the church with optional access from the back doors at the side of the church. It can seat 30-50 people depending on table and chair layout requirements or be used for exercise groups etc with chairs and tables removed/put aside. Hire of this also includes use the back kitchen where there is a serving hatch to this hall.

The Retreat

The Retreat is a small meeting room that can seat 8-10 people or be used for one to one advice/counselling sessions.
