We are supporters &
partners with Harlow & Bishop's Stortford Food Banks.
Banks exist to restore dignity and revive hope by seeking to combat hunger. The
aim is to engage with the local community by helping people who find themselves
in an emergency crisis situation. Front-line professionals, who are
likely to come into contact with those in need, identify the need & issue
vouchers which are then exchanged for food.
Foodbank, a registered charity which operates under the nationwide organisation
The Trussell Trust, opened in 2009. To the end of 2014 they have helped over
February 2013 we, together with other Churches, agencies and community
organisations, combined to open

independently, but working closely with Harlow Food Bank, Charitable status was
obtained in November 2013. Food is distributed Monday to Friday 10.00-12.30
from the our Church. The town’s Food Bank helped 724 adults & children in
