Sunday Club (Sunday School)

Sunday Club is open on Sundays from 10.00 to 11.00 (ie the same time as the morning service). Everyone is welcome – you may feel you know nothing about the Christian faith and are unsure whether it is for you – it doesn’t matter – we would love to see you. And we changed the name from Sunday School because we are aware that the children have school five (or sometimes six) days a week – we try to make the morning sessions as much fun as possible so they will enjoy their time with us as well as learning.

Most of the children meet up beforehand and go into church together for the first part of the service, sitting at the front of the church. After about 15 minutes, during which there will usually be a couple of hymns/songs a prayer and a short talk from the preacher, aimed at the children, Sunday Club leaves and goes to classes in the various halls and rooms of the church premises.

These classes are divided into three age groups, covering 3-6 years, 7-10 years, and 11 plus. The aim is to enable the children to learn of the wonderful love of God and of Jesus’ life and teachings and to understand how these relate to everyday life.

There is also a Crèche for babies and toddlers up to the age of 3. This is in a room off the upper foyer in church and is available from 10.00 on Sunday mornings, allowing parents to attend the service without the distraction of the little ones, but knowing they are safe and only a few steps away.

Do come and join us – you would be more than welcome. If you would like any more information, please contact .
