As Christians, we extend loving care to all whatever their circumstances and particularly in times of special sorrow or stress, following the example of Jesus. To enable us to fulfil this we have a well organised network of pastoral and community visitors and can arrange Holy Communion  for those who are housebound.

We are active members of  Churches Together in Bishops Stortford and help with  Holiday Bible Week,  join in other events such as  SHINE  and the  Good Friday Service  and Procession of Witness.

Many individual members support a huge variety of charitable organisations and as a church we hold regular events on behalf of charities such as   Whitechapel Mission, Methodist Homes for the Aged, Leprosy Mission, Action for Children, Christian Aid, Womens Network and World Mission projects.   Women’s Network are involved in organising joint events with World Federation of Methodist and Uniting Church Women.

We run a Fair Trade Stall every Sunday and goods can also be ordered from the catalogue.
